Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026. This policy explains how Genarium handles data, cookies, ads, and contact messages. We keep the generators usable without accounts and keep non-essential tracking behind your consent choice.

No accounts

You can use the generators without creating a profile or signing in.

Consent-based ads

Essential only keeps ads non-personalised. Allow all enables ad personalisation and measurement.

Lean data use

We keep data collection limited to running the site and handling messages.

1. Who is responsible

Genarium is responsible for this website and the data processing described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact us. The legal operator details should match the site imprint or legal notice.

2. What we process

Genarium does not require accounts. We process only data needed for the site, messages you send, and ads based on your consent choice:

  • Technical request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, timestamps, and error logs. This is needed to deliver the site securely and diagnose issues.

  • Your consent setting, stored locally in this browser under genarium.cookie-consent.

  • Contact form data such as your name, email address, topic, and message when you choose to submit it.

  • Advertising data handled by Google AdSense depending on whether you selected Essential only or Allow all.

3. Cookies, local storage, and consent

The cookie banner offers two choices. “Essential only” stores your consent choice and loads Google AdSense in non-personalised/contextual mode where ads are based on page context rather than an advertising profile. “Allow all” stores your consent choice and allows Google AdSense to use cookies or similar technologies for personalised ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and ad measurement where available. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s browser data.

4. Legal bases

We process technical data to operate and secure the site based on our legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). We process contact messages to answer your request under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f). We use non-essential cookies, personalised advertising, and ad measurement only after consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the applicable cookie rules.

5. Data retention

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, debugging, and operations. Contact requests are kept while we handle the conversation and any reasonable follow-up period. Your consent preference stays in your browser until you clear site data. Advertising partners apply their own retention rules as described in their privacy documentation.

6. Third-party services

We may use hosting, security, and advertising providers to run Genarium. Google AdSense may receive technical and advertising-related data when ad slots are loaded. If you choose Essential only, we request non-personalised ads. If you choose Allow all, personalised advertising and ad measurement may be enabled.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, this should be covered by recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where those rights apply. You can also withdraw consent for future processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when Genarium, our providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version applies from the date shown on this page.
